#KouLenginDetroit | Spring Break 2015

During the start of January, I was already planning for my spring break trip. My Youth Pastor and family were called to Detroit to be the senior Pastor at the local church. I missed them dearly and wanted to visit them for my 21st birthday and spring break. My birthday was just a few days before spring break and I wanted to spend my time with them. I had a wonderful week spent with my old youth Pastor's family which felt more like my second family. Thank you Pastor Vang and Family for loving me as your own son and hosting me for entire week. Although I know you have said many times that I am not a burden, but I am truly thankful to have spent my spring break with your family. I am grateful for your investment in me and discipling me. I love you Pastor Vang, Shannon, Nate, Lucas, and Maddy. Here are a few photos from my trip. Enjoy.

Prior to leaving I wanted to surprise the kids. Parents only told them that a guest was visiting. Here was their reaction seeing me,

"I knew it was you, Kou Leng!! You are our number 1 babysitter!"

While the boys were at school, told the parents to get out the house and go on a date. A day with Maddy
